The hotel is of particular interest to birdwatchers and has an ideal location overlooking the lagoons on the edge of the Donana National Park.
Showering facilities are difficult for disabled guests. Showers are over the small bath which is difficult to access for anyone with mobility problems. So far as I am aware there are no rooms with easy access showers.

Nice building, unique location just off a restaurant, called `` viejo '' and El Rocio, a town of special Catholic significance, beside the lake. Also, by the lake shore. Beautiful room with good shower and a bath as expected. Good basic breakfast selection of brilliant things.
No breakfast.

The rooms are all based on birds with painted tiles and pictures giving it that personal touch. The heating and air-con was great and the hot water hot. It backs on to the lake next to El Rocio and so some rooms have lovely views through the big full length doors. The restaurant across the road is excellent with fantastic service and great food. A lovely place to stay and the town itself is rather different. It´s right next to Doñana National Park and a great location for visiting the area.
We were there in December during a bad period of weather and El Rocio being unpaved was a bit crazy for driving in. The rooms were a bit small, but cosy all the same, and you could hear people walking in the corridors.

Room, relaxed attitude of staff.
No vegetarian food on the menu! However, staff were able to produce meals for the rest of the stay after being alerted to the problem.

The room was warm enough and large and included a shower and bath sheets. the best part were the attentive and caring staff. the location was amazing, near the wildlife in the National Park and El Rocio's history. El Rocio's setting was unusual and in an amazing area.

The decor - the tiled scenes in public and bedrooms. Proximity to El Rocio lagoon (it is a shame it had dried up) and Coto de Donana Proximity to excellent birdwatching sites.
Noisy youngsters outside my bedroom until 4.30am Bright street lights shining into the room. (These are not complaints but the problems should be sorted out).

Location was outstanding next to the El Rocio lagoon. Helpful staff.
We stayed on the half board basis, evening mealing was ok. If you are into gourmet food then half board is probably not for you.
